World Food Moscow, Moscow, Russia:  September 15-18, 2009

New Venture hosted two seminars during World Food Moscow 2009 on "Doing Business with the United States".  Speakers included Alla Putiy, Agricultural Marketing Specialist, ATO, U.S. Embassy, Moscow; Oksana Lubentsova, Agricultural Marketing Specialist, FAS/ATO Vladivostock; Oksana Prokofieva, Commerical Specialist, U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service, Moscow; Representatives from the Southern United States Trade Association (SUSTA), Corry M de Wit and Theresa Brophy; and James Huff, President, River One.  Bonnie Heineman Wolfe of New Venture served as the Moderator.  Funding for the event was provided by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Emerging Markets Program.

New Venture also exhibited several U.S. food products at the trade show including pecans, dried cranberries, microwave popcorn, mayonnaise, and "Texas Select"™ non-alcoholic beer. 

There were 1,100 exhibitors at World Food Moscow 2009 from 55 countries.  The trade show attracted over 53,000 attendees.

 


National Restaurant Association Show 2009, Chicago, IL: May 18, 2009

New Venture hosted a seminar during the National Restaurant Association Show 2009 on "Russian Market Development Training - A Seminar on Doing Business with Russia".  Speakers (below) from left to right were: (translator), Mikhail Korin, President, Business Russia, Moscow, Russia; Oksana Prokofieva, Commerical Specialist, U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service, Moscow, Russia; Alla Putiy, Agricultural Marketing Specialist, ATO, U.S. Embassy, Moscow, Russia; Pamela Sherard, USDA/OTP/Trade Services Staff, Washington, DC; Peter Schauer, CEO and Founder, Orion Marine Corporation, Chicago, IL; and Laura Coury, Communications Manager, Food Export-Midwest and Northeast, Chicago, IL.  Bonnie Heineman Wolfe of New Venture served as the Moderator.  Funding for the event was provided by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Emerging Markets Program.  There were 1,180 exhibitors at the National Restaurant Association Show 2009 with over 53,000 registrants.
